- Mix yeast, lukewarm water, salt & sugar in a small bowl and mix together to activate the yeast(as little froth will appear on top means yeast has got active)
- Now in a large bowl mix all ingredients require for dough formation and start preparing a soft dough. (any flavouring like basil, oregano etc can be added)
- As dough gets prepared, apply little oil on it and leave for resting by covering it with wet or samp cloth for 15-20 mins.
- Preheat the oven at 425°F or 220°C.
- Once the dough get rasied, knead it (by palm) and leave it for while.
- Now grease the baking tray with oil & give desired shape to the dough. Make some dimples in dough by pressing from your fingers.
- Do the desires topping & sprinkle grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese with drizzle of olive oil on top.
- Place the dough on Bali g tray and allow it to cook in oven for 15 min or till golden brown crust form on top. Serve hot
Grate a handful of Parmesan cheese and pick the rosemary leaves. Sprinkle both over the final third and season with pepper. Homemade focaccia is simply the BEST! It's easy to make, but be sure to give yourself the afternoon. You'll be rewarded with a rich, rosemary-scented bread that feeds a crowd.
