  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Line a baking tin with baking paper.
  2. Mix the almond flour, baking powder, salt and cacao together.
  3. Melt the coconut oil in a pan on a gentle heat. If you’re using 85% chocolate, melt it along with the oil but use a bowl over a saucepan that has water simmering in it - like in the photo. No need to do this with cacao nibs because they don’t melt 😁
  4. Mix the oil + cacao nibs + the other wet ingredients.
  5. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. (Without the walnuts.)
  6. Now it’s time for the walnuts 🎉Add half of the walnuts and gently fold them into the mixture.
  7. Pour the mix into the tin and sprinkle the remaining walnuts on top. Bake for ~ 25 mins. You have to wait for them to cool before cutting or they fall apart 😕
  8. But once they’ve cooled down… enjoy! 😋 Best kept in the fridge.

Make sure to store them in a covered airtight container to prevent drying out.
