- Wash and soak dal for 4-5 hours. Strain water.
- Take a mixer jar put dal, salt, green chilli, red chilli powder, ginger, garlic,hing, jeera, dhaniya seeds,two tbsp water and grind it. The batter should be little coarsely ground.
- Making Chillas: Spread batter on preheated pan. Make desired size and shape.
- Cook with or without oil as desired. Turn sides every few seconds till it cooks evenly on both sides.
- Turn gas off. And serve it with tomato sauce.
